Meet Your Queen
Every jar knows its hive
Each jar of Raw Honey has a sticker on the bottom naming the hive it came from. We harvest one box at a time, so flavor follows the nectar flow. Pick a hive to meet its queen.

The Red Hive
Red HiveThe West Coast Queen
Our first love. She arrived in a package of bees from GloryBee in Eugene, and her colony is the one that started Villa Bee. She is a docile queen, and a docile queen makes a docile colony. This hive gathers more propolis than any of our others.

Unfiltered and unprocessed
All of our honey is raw. We don't filter it or heat it, so the natural traces of propolis, pollen and beeswax stay in the jar. Darker batches carry cherry or blackberry notes. Lighter ones are floral and sweeter.
Raw honey may crystallize over time. That's normal. Warm the jar gently in a bowl of warm water to soften it.
Do not feed honey to infants under 12 months of age.
